Congratulations to you both. [ He means it sincerely, though he's a bit subdued about it by nature. He supposes it makes sense, that people here would find love that would ultimately lead to marriage-- though he's pretty sure that won't ever be in the cards for him again. ] I'd be happy to take the job. How soon do you need the alterations?

The date is set for February Sixteenth. I would need them before that, to make sure the fit is right for everyone. How long do you think you will need?

For simple alterations? No more than a day. I could finish complicated alterations within five to seven. I may have an apprentice now who can lend me a hand, so it shouldn't be too difficult.
