A LIL THING FOR FRANKESTEIN

[ Once upon a time, Jefferson thought that once the curse ended, and he was reunited with Grace, that would be it. Happily ever after, at last. No more obstacles, just a nice, easy ride into the sunset!

But this is Storybrooke, so the road to his happy ending is, instead, bumpy and full of potholes. Another day, another crisis for the heroes to battle. For the most part, Jefferson's been adept at avoiding most of the drama, most of the time. But, eventually, it's his turn to get roped into the latest Charming-Swan-Mills-Gold crisis and help save the day from another disgruntled figure from one of their pasts.

It's like jury duty. Everyone in Storybrooke has to do it sometime.

At least Jefferson was lucky enough to have Victor's aid in this endeavor. Between the two of them and some marriage of science and portal magic, they were able to take care of the witch du jour and the pixie infestation she unleashed upon the town.

And now: it's time for a celebration at Granny's, where everyone will pretend that the Mad Hatter and Dr. Frankenstein are totally members of Team Hero now, and act like that was definitely the last crisis that will ever be thrown at the town.

At least Granny's pies are always good. Jefferson's just going to enjoy a slice as he leans against the wall, next to Victor. ]

Do you think Regina will ever learn to cook something besides lasagna?

[ Totally casual here. Definitely not fighting the urge to shout: "I'M BORED, LET'S GO." ]

[Victor is honestly not all that sure why he was roped into this. At least when it was medical-related, he understood. He was literally the only doctor in town, after all. But magic? What sort of expertise did he bring? Apparently in this case the way science and magic could work together. Who knew?

He likes the celebration at Granny's, though. His frequent visits make him an expert on what's good to eat and drink]

[he gives her points for effort. But he's not really thrilled with the idea of sticking around here long. He doubts anyone would care if he left, so he jerks his head in the door's direction as a signal for Jefferson to follow him out]
