![]() JEFFERSON (21) I AM A TRAVELER AND ADVENTURER SEEKING COMPANY IN THIS NEW LAND. TELL ME A STORY AND I WILL TELL YOU ABOUT ONE OF THE WORLDS I'VE VISITED. |
OLD CUDDLR PROFILE (1/28/2017 - 5/1/2017):
I've traveled to many lands, some of which you may have read about in storybooks. A fun fact: Dormice make for terrible tea party guests.
No cuddling on the first date.
OLD CUDDLR PROFILE (9/21/2016 - 1/28/2017):
Single father who hasn't been on a date in more time than I care to admit. Let's start with getting to know each other over tea.
(Please stop calling me a 'DILF'. I'm not sure what that means, and I don't want to know.)

I kind of wish I took your approach to this profile instead. Succinct.
[ And intriguing, which is always a bonus. ]

i haven't had tea in a long time. if you don't mind instant, i could make you some.
[This is how you do this right?]
no subject
I'm not picky. The company's more important than the tea. [ Because he's a recovering shut-in, so he seriously needs to get the hang of socializing again. The sooner he gets the hang of interacting with people in a... semi-normal way again, the sooner he can start fulfilling his end of the deal to the city reps. ] I could bring burgers? Tea and burgers, not quite traditional.
[ Which is good, because the last thing he needs is to be reminded of the tea parties of Wonderland. ]

[ Only so informative, though it is more informative than some.
(Okay, most.)
Though the tea almost sways his decision. ]

So, maybe leaving a tick seems sketchy but it's the only way this thing'll let me say hello.
sorry for the delay!

I certainly felt a twinge of narcissism, myself, sending one back at you.
Dvořák?
[ It stood out in TJ's profile as a reference that went RIGHT OVER Jefferson's head. ]

What do you like to do for fun, Jefferson? Not jogging, as we know.
no subject
[ At least, that's all things he did back in Storybrooke to try to keep himself occupied. Not so much here. ]
Here, I spend a lot of time exploring the city. And I've taken up cooking.
Not that I wasn't cooking before. I'm just trying new things.
[ If he seems a little awkward, that's because he is. He's kind of worried about coming across as boring. There are only so many ways to spin "Well, I used to be a depressed, half-mad shut-in, so I didn't really have much of a concept of fun for a long time." ]
What do you do besides jogging?

I suppose FILB is out of the question, then. Tea sounds nice, though. Black as a midwinter's night, I hope?
no subject
I'm almost afraid to ask what that one stands for.
[ Though he can guess! ]
Black? Always. That's what we had at all the tea parties.

I can't say that I've ever licked a flag. And here I thought I lived an adventurous life.
How do you have so many faces? Magic, or incredible costuming skills?
[ Color Jefferson intrigued. ]

No DILFing, I promise.
Starting with some tea sounds great.

I really should change my profile, now that I know what that means...
I'd like that. We could learn more about each other than "single father" and "likes to bake."

I don't think I have. That's a southern thing, isn't it?

I'll take your word on the dormice, darling. I never saw much use for them myself.

[ He ALMOST X's you again, Ana-- but the fact that he didn't is a sign that he's at least moving on from his past a little. ]

Is a Dormouse different than a regular mouse?
